Objective
Conquest! is a strategy war game set in the medieval ages. The objective is to acquire land by defeating other players and completing quests. Once this occurs, a winner is declared and a new Age begins (typically 15-30 calendar days). Players who survive until the end of an Age will gain an experience point and bonus magical items.
Through honor or treachery (or both!) you must conquer the realm!

Time
Time passes in the game whether you’re logged in or not and other people can do actions when you’re not around. You gain assets as time progresses:
- Every 15 minutes – you gain 5 extra Movement Points
- Seasons – grant additional Movement Points and attacks and your army is fed and paid. Any troops without provisions will desert.
- New Year – the last Season of the day ends a game year.
Armies & Combat
Your army is divided into two divisions: defense and campaign. Your defense army is used when you are attacked by other players. Your campaign army is used when fighting others. To transfer troops between divisions use the buttons or sliders. If you lose a defense, your campaign army is automatically recalled.
Armies are used to gain assets from either the hordes or other players. Hordes are randomly generated NPCs and may be engaged by using the Quest map. Other players can be found by listening to gossip at the tavern or by conducting a survey. It is wise to view another's kingdom prior to attacking using spies, magic, or class abilities.
The number of times you can attack and lose a defense is based on your level and class and is reset each Season. When you start the game, you’re protected from attacks. That protection is removed if you attack others or reach level 4. Protection can be restored by Clerics and magic items.
You may only purchase troops specific to your class. Goods you cannot purchase will appear faded.
